Artwork
The main body of my work comes from commissions. I can take an idea or vision from a client and turn it into something beautiful using a wide variety of mediums. These include pencil, pen, colored pencil, charcoal, pastel, acrylics, oils, and carving. I can create on just about any surface: canvas, paper, skulls, bone, barnwood, letters, metal, walls, and even an RV. Common subjects I have worked with include wildlife, livestock, people, landscapes, and flowers. I have done several pet portraits that place my clients’ beloved companions in their natural environment. In my carvings, I have explored filigree, Celtic, Mehndi, and tribal designs with elements of nature interwoven. I can work small (4x4) or big (26’ RV - all sides). I love commissions. I am not afraid to stretch my skills in new areas and I love translating my client’s vision into reality. I’m easy to work with and take constructive criticism well. My dare…try me! You won’t be disappointed. Visit my galleries to see commissioned works of art: drawings, paintings, carvings.
Music
My music is acoustic in nature, featuring piano and vocals with various accompanying instruments. Harmony plays a big role, whether through voice or violin. In recent works I have tried to incorporate new rhythms and chord progressions. Song themes are generally faith based and born from the struggles and joys common to all: loss, loneliness, confusion, doubt, hope, awe, reverence, and love.
