I took several reference pictures of this mule deer buck and his friend as we were driving around one foggy morning. Dew was all over the grass and their fur was slick with moisture. I loved how the mature buck watched us while his friend didn’t pay us any mind. If Mr. Mature was ok with us stopping for a quick picture, he didn’t have anything to fear. I saw them both a few more times over the year and into the winter. They were always together.
